The primary design development of the V2 is a wireframe structure which reduces both bulk and weight, and results in a much more refined appearance.
Because the overall height of the hinge is shorter, the headband can now curve more smoothly around the head. The hinge also accommodates two separate wires which run through its center, resulting in a clean design without penalty to functionality.
